Festive screening of the "Music for Barbara" concert recording | Jan Valta
Two sold-out concerts, a symphony orchestra, over a hundred singers, and music from Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in the Church of St. Barbara. This extraordinary concert evening, which we experienced together on July 11th, is returning – this time on the big screen.
On Monday, October 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM, we invite you to the Modrý kříž Cinema in Kutná Hora for the first public screening of a professional film recording of the "Music for Barbara" concert, created by Warhorse Studios. Admission is free, but due to limited seating in the cinema, advance reservation of a free ticket is required.
The "Music for Barbara" concert connected the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with a place that has become an integral part of the game's Kutná Hora. The music was composed and conducted by Jan Valta. Performing together were the Warhorse Studios Orchestra and a large mixed choir, which brought together singers from the USPS Tyl, Caritas from ZUŠ Kutná Hora, Gaudeamus from Jiří Orten Gymnasium, the Svatojakubský church choir of the Kutná Hora parish, and the Cecilská musical society from Ústí nad Orlicí.
Now we can return to this evening – and experience it in a completely different way.
The seventy-minute film recording, directed by Martin Marek, captures the concert from perspectives that the audience could not see directly in the church. We will see up close the musicians, singers, and conductor, as well as the Church of St. Barbara itself.
Were you with us in July? Come and relive that evening. And if you missed the sold-out concerts, this is your chance to see what it was like.
