Restoration work is underway on the main entrance portal of the archdeaconry building. The work is being carried out by Docent Jakub Ďoubal in collaboration with students from the Faculty of Restoration at the University of Pardubice. The portal will be thoroughly cleaned with fine abrasives and with the help of laser methods. Subsequently, defects will be filled, and the surface of the portal will be provided with a final finish. This work follows the static reinforcement of the portal and the restoration of the façade that took place last year. Thus, the work on the northern façade will be completed, except for the plinth areas of the building, where a stone plinth is expected to be installed in the future.
